This demo is a demonstration of what the final game will look like in DirectX 10
Akella today released a DX10 tech demo-benchmark for PT Boats: Knights of the Sea, the first simulator of the Mosquito-fleet of the Allied Forces, Russia or Germany during the height of World War II. The main DX10 graphics features of PT Boats: Knights of the Sea tech demo-benchmark are the following: advanced ocean rendering, soft particles, reflections, light beams and advanced transparency, as well as advanced HDR for gunfire and sun reflection. Slated for a Q4 2007 release, PT Boats Knights of the Sea promises historically accurate WWII war-machines, highly detail 3D landscapes, never before seen 3D water quality, realistic ship damage, up to 16 players in multiplayer games and more.
